Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of CE Ready, operated by Applied AI Ltd ("we", "us", "CE Ready"). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms.

1. The service

CE Ready provides AI-assisted compliance pre-screening for CE and UKCA marking requirements. Results are generated by an AI model and are for informational and guidance purposes only. They do not constitute legal, regulatory, or professional advice. You must not rely on CE Ready output as a substitute for qualified regulatory consultancy or as confirmation of legal compliance.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must be at least 18 years old and authorised to act on behalf of any organisation you register.

3. Payments and refunds

Project workspaces (Starter and Pro) are one-time purchases and are non-refundable once the workspace has been activated. Studio subscriptions may be cancelled at any time; access continues until the end of the billing period. No partial-period refunds are issued. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT where applicable.

4. Acceptable use

You must not:

• Use CE Ready to produce documentation you present as legally confirmed compliance.
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or reproduce the assessment engine.
• Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content to your document workspace.
• Share account credentials with unauthorised parties.
• Attempt to circumvent usage limits or access controls.

5. Intellectual property

CE Ready and its underlying software, regulatory briefs, and UI are owned by Applied AI Ltd. Assessment output generated from your product information is yours to use for your own compliance purposes. You grant us a limited licence to store and process your uploaded documents solely to deliver the service.

6. Disclaimer of warranties

CE Ready is provided "as is". We make no warranty that the service is accurate, complete, or fit for any particular purpose. Regulatory requirements change; you are responsible for verifying that any guidance you act on reflects current applicable law.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Applied AI Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from your use of CE Ready, including any regulatory penalties, product recalls, or compliance failures. Our total liability for direct loss shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these terms. You may close your account at any time by emailing support@ce-ready.com.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

10. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified by email.
